Counseling Designed Just For You

How Therapy Works:

The SH Method

Step 1: Consult

I believe being a good match with your therapist is the first step to therapy that works. You should feel good with your therapist as a person. When you are comfortable you have a solid foundation to do good work together.

Step 2: Logistics

During the consultation I’ll tell you about the benefits available with your insurance policy and I’ll check your copay. If you don’t have insurance, I have a discounted rate for the uninsured. I try my best to make therapy accessible.

Step 3: Find Roots

Together we will explore your viewpoints, social history, health history, wellness history and family history so that we can understand you as a whole person. I will be listening for your psychological and emotional tender spots in order to find the root causes for your current challenges.

Step 4: Customized Treatment

After getting to know your mental wellness picture, I will create an individualized treatment plan to support your optimal growth. When needed, we will collaborate with holistic doctors, health practitioners and psychiatrists during your treatment to address any health issues.

Step 5: Meaningful Results

We will track and fine tune treatment to continue to move you towards fulfilling your goals. The practices, promises and communications that we design for you to do between your sessions will help you build momentum and reach your goals faster.

Step 6: Relax & Enjoy

Celebrating and enjoying your accomplishments is a very important step. It’s important to just give your self space to be and to enjoy life. When you get bored of relaxation and you want to explore new goals, just call and we can talk about it.

Because You Matter

“I process basic required information essential for billing, insurance and documentation purposes on a platform. I won’t put details of your most sensitive stories and secrets in notes on a cloud or a platform. I do my best to treat you the way I would like to be treated. Protecting you and your loved ones matters to me.”
